Apart from plants, to promote the public awareness on biodiversity conservation, this herbivore mammal is being conserved in the garden. They were captured from Northern most of Myanmar. There is no chance to observe them else any other gardens in Myanmar. Apparently, Takin is national animal of the Bhutan. Though they are not a common species naturally, their numbers appear to have been reduced considerably. Their geographic range is Bhutan, China, India and Myanmar.
